About the Season

Welcome to Cinema Project's spring 2011 season—a jam-packed calendar of new, old, and unusual film and video. Along with some extraordinary work this season are some equally extraordinary guests: legendary experimental filmmaker Ernie Gehr, curator of the MadCat Women's International Film Festival Ariella Ben-Dov, and Pacific Film Archive curator Steve Seid. On top of that, we're launching a new series, which means more guests (poets, lecturers, artists, historians!) and more awesome work—check back in the coming weeks for more details! With the new season also come some organizational changes. Co-founders Autumn Campbell and Jeremy Rossen will transition to satellite positions as they break from the Pacific Northwest to respective exotic locales. With their departures come some new faces—Jesse Malmed and Michael McManus—that we hope will become familiar ones. Please join us in welcoming them. We look forward to seeing you at the cinema.
