This summer Cinema Project was awarded an Opportunity Grant from the Regional Arts & Culture Council. The Opportunity Grant Program is funded by the City of Portland and is designed to provide grants to Portland-based nonprofit arts and cultural organizations to help meet special opportunities or assist organizations with emergencies that arise during the year and that are not part of the applicant’s annual budget or regular programming. Cinema Project is thankful to have this support from RACC to help cover our office and space rental fees. While funding for events and visiting artsists is the more exciting side of things, covering more administrative costs is equally essential to running a successful organization.
